Money and family frequently don't mix! I made the mistake of co-signing a loan for a family member. No payments have been missed, but there have been a few 'close calls' Thankfully, it hasn't affected our relationship because this family member is actually quite responsible and honest with me, so I am lucky in that respect. I have to say, though, the stress is not worth it as I have this albatross around my neck. This post is so true.
